Just received my A Bar Above Stainless Steel Juicer and let me tell you I am over the moon with it. Very sturdy, great leverage as well.
I was using a table top juicer , when I go to a party I usually take some batches of fun party cocktails, and was given a fathers day gift of a manual commercial juicer, works great but a bit much for a before dinner cocktail for myself or a couple of guests. We had one of the small juicers but geez had to have gorilla strength and smaller lemons & limes. So I decided to try these from A Bar Above and am so happy I did, as advertised it's large so fits lemons and limes perfect and was so impressed with the leverage, very easy to use. Top quality construction and the grips on the handles are just so, well, grippie !
Awesome mat. Very nice design. Offset pattern is a plus. Deep grooves, holds plenty of liquid and spills. Good size and protects my bar top. Very pleased. Would recommend and purchase another.
This muddler has a lot to recommend it. First off, the muddling head is pretty wide which allows you to muddle a lot of items (or large items) efficiently and quickly.
Secondly, the overall size is great. It's plenty long enough to use in any mixing glass I've ever seen while also being long enough to keep your hand well away from a pint glass that many home bartenders use. The grip is also great for either full-finger or finger tip grips.
And finally, it is super easy to wash. I handwash mine but they say it's good in the dishwasher top rack.
The only thing I don't love about this muddler is that it is not wooden. I just like the look and feel of wood tools but it doesn't affect the performance at all. Also, maybe the plastic could deteriorate more quickly than you would like it to but this shouldn't be an actual worry--everything else I've gotten from A Bar Above has been high quality and durable.

As a home bartender, I felt like I was making good drinks and only used what I had on hand to make those drinks (tools included), but little did I know the way to serve is far more complex. I want to do this as a career but didn't have any experience to get behind the bar. I knew that, in today's society, you need that experience and confidence to apply for jobs. After taking this course and the mixology certification course, I can officially say that I am way more confident in applying for jobs. In fact, I just had an interview. None of that would've been possible if it weren't for this course. Worth every penny. Can't wait to see what other courses will be offered in the future.
